When Twinkle Khanna’s Art Of Living Didn’t Tickle Some Funny Bones

We all have been well tickled and sent into convulsions by Mrs. Funnybones aka Twinkle Khanna.
This time, the Queen of Wit decided to react to the ‘Art of Living’ founder Sri Ravi Shankar’s response on Malala Yousafzai. He subtly indicated that in his view, Malala did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize:
“Nowadays there is no value to the Nobel prize. When you award it to a 16-year-old girl who hasn’t done anything, what value is left? It has become a political joke.”
So, here’s what Twinkle tweeted:
“Sri Sri got his nobel foot and half beard stuck in his mouth in a yogic pose that Baba Ramdev perfected a while ago #HolyMenAndHairyTales”
The million Bhakts (followers) were enraged and then started the endless hate tweets and trolling.
Also, the International Director of the foundation ‘Darshak Hathi’ tweeted to her:
“Millions of followers r going 2 boycott #Houseful3 4 hurting the sentiments by inappropriate and ill intended comments @mrsfunnybones on Sri Sri.”
Of course, Twinkle deleted the tweet and also apologised with another tweet, saying:
Didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings was meant to be a joke and am old enough to accept an error of judgement on my part.

But, this wasn’t the end. She made a legit point with another tweet.
@mrsfunnybones My tweet was in respond to your tweet which has hurt my sentiments. I appreciate that you have gracefully deleted it.

Exactly! Isn’t Art of Living about peace and non-violence?
Well slayed, Mrs. FunnyBones!
And, amidst the haters, there were some supporters too.
