‘The Monster Project’: Kids Draw Monsters To Enhance Creativity

What exactly do monsters look like? No one knows. Do they have three arms or four? One eye or two? Any legs at all? What a mystery. This ambiguity can be exploited to no end! And this is exactly what the creators of the “Monster Project” are doing.
They are enabling children to let their imaginations run wild, and come with their representation of what monsters might look like. They believe that this would help them realize and pursue their creative potential, since the opportunities for creative exploration are on a decline.. They simply invited children of elementary schools to draw monsters! Easy-peasy!
However, that it just doesn’t end there. Once their creations have taken shape, graphic artists bring them to life in their own artistic styles. Then, when they deliver these new interpretations back to the students in person, they are able to demonstrate new art techniques within their original creative context. The children are able to see what their idea sparked in others.
What an amazing idea! View all the designs here!
