From June 1, 2015 people will be able to buy domains ending in .sucks, .adult and even .porn from a wide list of 547 options. These domains costs as much as $2,500 to start with. Songstress Taylor Swift’s team has already purchased TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult in order to not allow any hooligan buy it and ruin her image. We say, smart move! Unfortunately, our world thinks a (celebrity) woman is an object and can be played with. Taylor’s move is just a way to stop the troll.
Sexual abuse/violence on the internet can happen in various ways. Apart from setting up a website (rare cases), such anonymous people can even send abusive messages & comments on your social networking pages.
Internet/online trolling is common. In such cases, women are suggested that they should just ignore it; delete the comments, block the accounts, and forget it ever happened. Of course, you can do all to get over the distress.
Our laws need to be reviewed and made stronger in order to detect and punish people behind such trolls. With the changing online behavior, the standardized set of effective take-down procedures for offensive content has become very important.
