While we fight every day for women’s rights and to empower women, there are few women who are already soaring in the sky and contributing to the changing face of a growing India.

And, they are the perfect sources of inspiration. Author Gunjan Jain collected all of these women together in her anthology She Walks, She Leads: Women Who Inspire India.

What’s the first name that comes to your mind when you think of inspirational women in India? Hopefully, you’ll find the name that popped into your head, among the 24 women. The women include Nita Ambani, Indira Nooyi, Sudha Murty, Yasmeen Premji among others.
