Apple’s New Emoji Keyboard: The Princess Goes Weight Lifting

Apple never fails to surprise me.

iOS 10 is all set to release this September and with that update, we will find new emojis. The emoji keyboard is getting 100 new and redesigned icons.

The update contains new gender-inclusive emojis, modern family dynamics, and a rainbow flag.

Google had proposed the idea of female emoji earlier this year, and they were finally approved by the Unicode Consortium in mid-July.

Emojis have become an integral part of our conversation. Last year we had emojis of different skin tones. Now, we will finally have emojis that show a bolder side of women that is different from the stereotypical princess-y, hair twirling ditzy emojis.
