The Cannes Lions festival awards the most deserving ads from around the world. This year the week long event is introducing a kick-ass new category to recognize advertising that shatters gender stereotypes.
According to Facebook COO and Lean In founder, Sheryl Sandberg, “Marketing that depicts women and men as equals — instead of reinforcing cliches — isn’t just good for society, it’s also good for business”.
Whisper’s “Touch the Pickle” campaign got the first ever Glass Lion Grand Prix award. However, this was not the only ad honored with the Glass Lion nod. Let us have a look at other ads that have occupied position in this list.
